Is the free plan really free forever?

Yes. It is a limited core-books tier — not a trial. No AI estimates. CSV bank import is included; live Plaid bank sync is an optional add-on on Free only (Settings → Billing). Upgrade to Pro for AI, job costing, change orders, and W-9; Business for AIA billing, lien waivers, and unlimited bank connections.

How does live bank sync pricing work?

Live bank sync is included natively in all paid plans (up to 3 connected accounts on Pro, unlimited accounts on Business). For Free tier accounts, live bank sync can be added as an optional utility module billed directly through your settings panel.

What is the Early Adopter Price Lock Guarantee?

Subscribe annual (Pro at $290/yr or Business at $790/yr) and your rate is locked forever — at no extra charge. Annual prices may increase for new customers over time, but your renewal will never go up as long as your subscription stays active without a lapse. Monthly plans are standard pricing with no lock.

How is Enterprise priced?

Enterprise has no public list price. You get everything in Business plus higher seats and storage, a dedicated account manager, and custom onboarding — quoted to your operation. Email [email protected] to talk through needs.

Are there watermarks or OmniLedgr branding on my PDFs?

Never. Your documents use your company logo with no watermarks on any tier. We do not add OmniLedgr branding to client-facing exports.

When do I get multi-company?

Business and Enterprise support multiple companies (entities) in one account — separate books per entity for owners running more than one operation.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

Free accounts: no card — create an account and use core bookkeeping. Pro and Business trials: yes — Stripe collects a card when you start the 14-day trial; you are not charged until the trial ends. Enterprise is sales-only — contact us for a quote.

Is there a limit on how many jobs I can run?

No active-job cap. Jobs scale with your document storage allowance. Archive old jobs to stay organized, not because we force you to.

What if someone abuses the platform?

Fair use applies. If we determine an account is using far beyond normal contractor volumes, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account per our Terms of Service.

Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Yes. No contracts. No penalties. Upgrade when you need more, downgrade if you need to scale back.

How does billing work?

Monthly plans bill on the day you subscribe. Annual plans bill once per year and save you about 17%. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial.
